Jobber is a powerful, user-friendly business management tool designed to help Home Service Providers take control of their operations — from scheduling to invoicing to payments. But despite strong traction in parts of Canada and the southern U.S., brand awareness was still low among the wider blue-collar entrepreneur market.

In a saturated field of generic software solutions, small business owners didn’t need another app — they needed a real ally to help them become the heroes of their own success story. Our opportunity wasn’t just to promote features; it was to shift perception and spark pride among an often-overlooked audience.

We set out to build a campaign entrepreneurs could believe in — one that celebrated their grit, skill, and confidence. With a rallying cry to "Own Your Business," we portrayed small business owners not as workers, but as pros in full command of their craft, their clients, and their future.

While the TV spot led the charge in building broad awareness, radio became a strategic breakthrough moment. Knowing our audience spent long hours on job sites with the radio always on, we launched “True Tales From the Job Site” — a cheeky, relatable series designed to meet them where they already were. These everyday stories reinforced Jobber’s value in a way that felt authentic, memorable, and perfectly in tune with the rhythms of their workday.

The creative didn’t just connect — it delivered real results. By tapping into both pride and practicality, we cut through a crowded category and dramatically boosted Jobber’s visibility with small business owners across North America. Brand awareness skyrocketed and most importantly, trial of the platform surged by +66%, proving we weren’t just shifting perceptions — we were shifting behaviour.

The success of the campaign laid a strong foundation for Jobber’s future growth. It positioned the brand not just as a software tool, but as a true champion for blue-collar entrepreneurship — and set the stage for Jobber to scale, attract new capital investment, and fuel the next chapter of its expansion.
